Welcome To Hypocrisy...

Lately, it feels like there has been so much dragging me down, a weight around my neck, but maybe this is the way to drop anchor, to start afresh....

So, by creating this, it may be the best possible way of me getting rid of my demons, letting them go on an all expenses paid trip to oblivion! Or, it just could present me as a moody bastard, I'm really not to sure which....

I'll start with an issue that will affect evryone; Money. It makes the world go round, but it equally makes others lives stop, staining the paper red with blood. But this isn't the main gripe. No, the main gripe as the title may suggest, is the abuse of money, how precendence is taken to spend over something so trivial, when it could be used for so much good, so many other causes to help in the world. We say one thing, but then another happens...

Take the Olympics for instacne. Yes, I will admit it creates a sense of social togetherness and unity between our fellow man, but do we really have to wait four years for that to occur for just two weeks. When looking at the obscene amounts of money that have been spent so far, imagine how much of this could have put back into helping those who have little, even by bettering our country. Oh, and by "bettering", I don't mean spending millions on a stdium that will be used for two weeks, and sold for an equally obscene price to a flagging London football team...

Yes, you may have heard all this before, you will no doubt hear it again from others, but surely it is time to realise that in this time of economic crisis, it will take more than money to buy back that which made us great. This is just the beginnig, of my thoughts, and possibly the downfall of a once great existence?....

  1. Heya mate,

Nice article, which raises interesting moral questions.

Although, as a musician yourself, surely you agree that musicians get paid far too much money for what they do and should, by your reckoning, instead give that to the needy? The same goes for footballers and actors. Why pay money for a stadium; why pay huge sums to oftentimes talentless wastes of blood and organs.

Which is basically all rap artists, Big Brother contestants and most teams in the Championship.

    Just putting it out there...

  2. Hi mate,

I found that blogging lets you release everything you have bottled inside for however long a period of time.

It also lets my creative juices flow - which is a first for me as I didn't realise I had any juices, except for the ones in the cartilage all around my body.
